Endless Pools: Modular Pools vs. Swim Spas

Compare the product format, not the brand name

Endless Pools offers both modular pools and self-contained swim spas. That means ‘Endless Pools versus swim spas’ is not a clean either-or comparison. The useful starting point is whether your home and goals are better served by an on-site assembled modular pool or a fully assembled swim spa.

Modular pools

Modular pools are assembled on site and offer flexibility in installation and customization. Endless Pools lists modular options with or without its Hydrodrive current technology. Ask which dimensions, depths, finishes and current options are available for the specific configuration you are considering.

Self-contained swim spas

A self-contained swim spa arrives as an assembled unit. Endless Pools describes its swim spas as all-in-one products with different current options and integrated spa features. Compare the usable swimming area, current, seating and temperature arrangements on the actual models rather than assuming every swim spa has the same features.

Installation: compare two complete plans

For either format, review delivery access, foundation support, drainage, service access and the electrical specification. Indoor projects also need professional planning for humidity and ventilation. Modular assembly can help with some access constraints; a self-contained unit needs an assessed delivery route. Neither format is automatically suitable for every indoor or outdoor location.

Compare the full installed cost

Request written, itemized quotes covering the product, delivery, site work, electrical work and any indoor construction. Ask about expected maintenance and operating costs for your location and intended use. Do not treat a generic monthly energy figure or a single lifespan estimate as a guarantee for your installation.

Try the experience that matters to you

If swimming is your main goal, ask about a demonstration so you can assess the current and usable swim space. If shared recreation and relaxation are priorities, compare access and seating as well. Confirm which products are available to view before travelling.

Frequently asked questions

No. Suitability depends on access, structure, ventilation and the chosen product; get a site-specific assessment. Will a swim spa always need a crane? No universal answer applies.
