The Curtis T. Eaton award is named in honor of Mr. Eaton who served as the President of the Twin Falls Bank and Trust. He and the bank were well-liked, well-respected, and dedicated to the success of employees, customers, and community. It’s in that spirit of support for our area’s economic vitality and quality of life that the award is presented each year to a local company that exemplifies these values. This year the award was presented by Kyle Tarbet, President and CEO, of the Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce on March 9th 2023 at their annual meeting to Snake River Pool & Spa.
Jim Paxton, Founder and CEO of Snake River Pool & Spa accepted the award on behalf of all Spa Team Members. Jim started the company in 1978 in Twin Falls shortly after graduating from high school. The company is the oldest and only locally owned Pool & Spa retail store in Magic Valley, located on N. Blue Lakes Blvd. The company has been a member of the Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce for over 40 years after good friend and valued customer, Doug Vollmer, nominated the company as a member in the early 80s.
“I am proud to have devoted my career, working alongside an outstanding team. Some of our team have been on board for over 30 year and one Spa Team member, Steve Meter, has been with us for nearly 40 years,” said founder and CEO Jim Paxton who stepped down as President in 2018.
“Today Snake River Pool & Spa is led by our business partners; Kyle Mueller, President; Dave Cooper, CFO; Paul Pelayo, Operations manager; Service Managers Alan Touchstone & Tory Harvey and Sales Manager Danielle Ambrose. Working alongside nearly 50 dedicated Spa Team members. Who serve thousands of valued customers/friends who have trusted Snake River Pool & Spa. The Spa Team gives of their time and contributes back in the community to many great causes,” continued Jim Paxton.
